Ran holds a BSc in Hotel Administration, an MA in International Leisure and Tourism Studies, and a PhD in Organizational Behavior. His research interests include power and influence in organizations, team building in hospitality, and higher education. His research has been published in journals such as Studies in Higher Education, Journal of Human Resources in Hospitality and Tourism, and International Journal of Human Resources Development and Management.
In line with his research foci, Ran teaches Psychology of Management and Organization, Research Design, Statistics, Deductive Logic & Logical Fallacies, and Essentials of Negotiation in Stenden's Bachelor's and Master's programs.
As placement mentor, Ran supervises Stenden's internship students in the Greater China region, collaborating closely with international hotels and hospitality enterprises in Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR. As research advisor, Ran supervises Bachelor's and Master's Theses within Stenden Hotel Management School and is currently functioning as Chairperson of Stenden Hotel Management School's Second Assessment Panel.
