Dr Bill Rowson passed away
  • publication: 30 October 2020

AIHR is saddened to have to report the sudden death of our colleague and friend Dr Bill Rowson, who passed away at home recently. Bill started as a taxi driver in his native UK, but went on to have a long and successful academic career in the UK, Middle East and China. He spent the last six years as a lecturer, supervisor and supportive mentor to students and colleagues here at Stenden Hotel Management School, NHLStenden University of Applied Sciences. His extensive publication record included journal papers, book chapters, edited book and consultancy reports, but he also contributed to assessment panels, accreditations and research networks. We are still considering how best to commemmorate Bill's quiet, positive and supportive attitude to all he came in contact with. Our thoughts are with Margaret and his boys Jimmy and Matthew.
