NHL Stenden Lecturers are welcomed at Jakarta Hotel in Amsterdam

On June 14th NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences' lecturers Dr. Elena Cavagnaro, Ms. Niels van Felius and the post-doctorate student Vanessa de Oliveira Menezes were welcomed at Jakarta Hotel, a 4-star hotel in Amsterdam that combinates an avant-garde design, technology, and sustainability. The Hotel is part of WestCord Hotels, a Frisian hotel company that owns 18 properties in the Netherlands. Jakarta Hotel offers 200 guest rooms and suites with an Indonesian influenced style. Its unique architecture in the shape of a boat made of more sustainable materials such as concrete, wood, and glass was planned to create a quiet oasis in the middle of Amsterdam offering an open space concept and a subtropical garden as a focal point. The meeting in Jakarta had as the main goal to settle a future partnership between Stenden Hotel Management School and WestCord Hotels. At this first session, three main projects were presented and discussed and new opportunities could happen which will include bachelor and master students and other lecturers. Fresh news can be announced in the near future.
