The Ken Hom - Lee Kum Kee Scholarship

I am very pleased to inform you that CHME is a supporting partner of a new scholarship to be offered by the Oxford Cultural Collective.

The Ken Hom - Lee Kum Kee Scholarship will be open to students pursuing higher education programmes in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related subjects, in educational institutions in any European country. Initiated by the renowned chef and broadcaster Ken Hom OBE, the scholarship reflects his commitment to higher education and to promoting careers in the international hospitality industry. 

Applicants will be required to prepare concise consultancy reports focused on particular challenges facing the hospitality industry. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a 'judging day' in central London, hosted by Ken Hom. Four winners will receive an immersive educational trip to an Asian city, with a dedicated host and guide. 

The Scholarship will be launched on the evening of 30th September 2019 at China Exchange, 32a Gerrard Street, London W1D 6JA. CHME members are very welcome to attend. Full details, including entry dates and deadlines, will be circulated after the launch.
