Rethinking the space of tourism, its power geomtries, and spatial justice

Rethinking the space of tourism, its power geomtries, and spatial justice is an article that Dr. Lucia Tomassini wrote together with Dr. Ian Lamond for the Special Issue Tourism, Global Crisis, and Justice - Guest Editors Raymond Rastegar, Freya Higgins-Desbiolles, Lisa Ruhanen - for the Journal of Sustainable Tourism.

Despite the urgency to embrace a more just, sustainable, tourism, the space of tourism has not yet received a sufficiently forceful reflection. Our study contributes to filling that gap by proposing a novel theoretical framework made of Posthumanism and mobile ontologies to rethink justice within tourism space. Dr. Lucia Tomassini - together with Dr. Ian Lamond - is presenting this contribution to the Critical Tourism Studies Conference (CTS9) in Menorca 27 June - 1 July 2022.
